1. SuperNitro is a Azotobacter based biofertilizer, the bacterium is a naturally occuring beneficial diazotroph that actively fixes atmospheric nitrogen in the soil by conversion to ammonia and makes it available to the plants.
2. The bacterium is also known to synthesize some biologically active substances including some phytohormones such as auxins thereby stimulating plant growth.
3. The bacterium also facilitates the mobility of heavy metals viz., lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium etc in the soil and thus enhance bioremediation of soil.
